FRIDAY, JUNE 3

Student Division – Eagle Eye – Keg shoe to fit.  Shoe center marked.

Division I – Eagle Eye – keg shoe to fit.  Shoe center marked.

Division II – Eagle Eye – plain stamped. 6 nails, 5/16 x 3/4”.  Shoe center marked.

Division III – Eagle Eye – fullered, 6 nails, 3/8 x 3/4”.  Shoe center marked.

 9:00 am – 9:50 am                 CLASS 2

Student Division1 pair front shoes, toe clipped, #1 keg shoes.

Division I – 1 pair of Slide Plates, 6 appropriate nails @ shoe, 1/4 x 1 x 11 1/2”.

Division II – 1 pair front straight bar shoes, plain stamped, 7 nails, toe clipped, 14” x 5/16 x 3/4”.        

     Contestant may cut steel to length for shoes to fit size given by judge at contest.

Division III – 1 pair of hinds, calk & wedge, 6 nails, quarter clipped, 14” x 3/8 x 3/4 concave

 

10:15 am -11:05 am               CLASS 3

Student Division1 pair hind shoes, quarter clipped, #0 keg shoes.

Division I – 1 pair hinds, square toe, quarter clipped, trailer, #1 keg shoes.

Division II – 1 pair hind, quarter clipped, safe toe, 11 1/2″ x 3/8 x 3/4″ concave.

Division III – Pair of front bar shoes, one straight bar and one heart-bar, fullered,

6 nails, hammer finish, 32” x 5/16 x 3/4″. 

Contestant will cut stock to make a matching “pair”.

Division I - 1 hind plain stamped, toe clip, 7 nails, 15” X 1/2” X 1”.

Division II – 1 front side-bone shoe, fullered medial, plain stamped lateral branch,

6 nails, 15” x 1/2 x  1.

Division III – 1 Front, beveled shoe, 7 nails, 18” x 1/2” x 1 1/4”.

SATURDAY, JUNE 4

Division II  -  1 hind foot with quarter clips, 5/16 x 3/4 plain stamped. 

Specimen – 1 front, fullered, toe clip, 6 nails, 5/16 x 3/4 x 12”.

9:15 am – 10:15 am               LIVE SHOEING

Division I  –  1 hind foot, quarter clips, keg shoe. 

Specimen – keg shoe with toe clip.

10:30 am – 11:30 pm             LIVE SHOEING

Division III – 1 pair front feet, fullered, toe clip, 6 nails, hammer finish,

5/16 x 3/4 or 3/8 x 1 as appropriate for foot.  


11:30 pm – 12:30 pm             Lunch

12:30 pm – 4:00 pm               THREE MAN DRAFT SHOEING

1 front & 1 hind, 1/2 x 1 1/4″ fullered, toe clip.

 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm              Watermelon Classic
